Lounge Spaces

Multicultural Student Space

The Multicultural Student Space offers students a comfortable lounge to hang out, hold meetings, host events, and relax and recharge between or after classes. While the Multicultural Student Space was created to primarily serve students of color, it is open to anyone in the campus community interested in connecting with students from backgrounds different than their own. For Multicultural student organizations to reserve the space for private meetings or events, please follow instructions through the Presence portal managed within the Center for Student Involvement.

LGBTQ+ Lounge

The LGBTQ+ lounge serves as an affirming space for those within and that support the community to be able to relax, connect with peers, study, or watch tv. This lounge includes three conversation areas and a comfy sofa to hangout or watch movies on. Follow the UR LGBTQ+ Campus Life instagram for activities and other programs being hosted in the space.
