Latinx Heritage Month

We are excited to commemorate Latinx Heritage Month annually from September 15th to October 15th. We celebrate Latin America's cultures, histories, and peoples this month. Latinx people are the fastest-growing population in Richmond, representing our student body, faculty, and staff. This year’s planning committee wanted to showcase that diversity through our events and programming. UR will host speakers, performers, and community gatherings of Latinx from Virginia and across the nation. We invite all of the Spider community to celebrate with us!
